The Vineyard - A Community Of Churches

National Worship Task Force

This task force primarily exists to encourage and develop an authentic sense of community and connectedness amongst the worship leaders of American Vineyard churches. This network is vital for the building up of our churches in the area of worship not only in the “top-down” or “broadcast” sense where resources travel from national or regional leadership and/or Vineyard Music USA out to the local worship leader, but also in the “point to point” sense where our local church worship leaders encourage and resource each other. It is in the building of this network that we hope to see the worship life of AVCUSA continue to be fanned into flame as we build the “means” by which our worship leaders can share the resources and encouragement that God has uniquely given them as well as receive those things that God has uniquely given to others.

Regional Worship Objectives
  • Build and encourage a growing sense of community among the worship leaders of each region.
  • Partner with VMUSA in the development of schools, forums, events, and materials to better equip our worship leaders and teams.
  • Partner with VMUSA to further develop and encourage our songwriters and deepen the theological content, musical quality, diverse expression, and congregational accessibility of our local Vineyard worship songs – better serve our local congregations in our songwriting.
  • Encourage a deeper expression of worship and sense of God’s presence in our local churches.
  • Nurture and encourage a renewed environment of “holy innovation” where our worship style continues to reach into our ever-changing culture in both fresh and historic ways.
  • All of these things also with a special focus on the next generation of emerging worship leaders, musicians, and songwriters.
