Vineyard USA National Director Confirmation

We are pleased to announce that Phil Strout has been chosen by the Vineyard USA Board of Directors to be our next National Director.  This choice has been overwhelmingly confirmed by the Senior Pastors of our movement with 96% saying yes to the selection of Phil as our next National Director.

Over the next 15 months, Phil will be transitioning into his role with the official change occurring January 2013, when Bert Waggoner will finish his tenure as National Director. Although Phil will not assume his National Director role until that time, he will immediately begin building his future leadership teams and structures while preparing for his new role in the Vineyard.  In January 2012, Phil will begin working full time together with Bert to insure a smooth transition.

Let’s join together in a season of prayer during this transition period.  Let’s pray for the Vineyard and its future.  Let’s pray for Phil as he leads us in this new chapter in the history of the Vineyard movement, and for Bert as we celebrate his contribution to the Vineyard and for what God has in store for him and Evelyn in the future.
