Talks from 2025 Women’s Conference

The 2025 More Conference in Evanston was a conference focused on moving past spiritual survival to fully embrace a calling in leadership and faith. Held at the Evanston Vineyard, the event gathered women pastors, ministry leaders, and volunteers for collaborative worship, networking, and teaching from prominent speakers like Jo Saxton and Dr. Nijay Gupta.

Core Conference Themes

• Women in Scripture: Dr. Nijay Gupta focused heavily on the theological and historical presence of women in the early church. He highlighted their roles as leaders, teachers, and ministers, expanding on concepts from his work Tell Her Story.
• Moving Beyond Survival: Speakers Melanie Forsythe-Lee and Jo Saxton addressed the practicalities of modern ministry. They challenged leaders to move from “just surviving” to stepping boldly into their worth, calling, and capacity within the local church.
• Leadership Development & Advocacy: Sessions emphasized creating intentional support systems, mentorship networks, and advocacy structures to develop senior pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders.
• Spiritual Resilience and Courage: Main messages targeted the emotional and spiritual sacrifices of leadership. Teachings focused on gaining the courage to speak truth, requesting more spiritual support (grace, mercy, and compassion), and cultivating resilience.
