In different seasons of life, most of us spend time actively seeking what direction God has for us. We wonder how God might want to use our gifts or what our calling might be. We want to make a significant difference in the world—but we’re not quite sure where to begin. That’s what the Cause Conference is all about.
The conference is designed to inspire, to equip, and to challenge our younger Vineyard risk-takers to deeply consider the direction their lives are going. We want to encourage one another to pursue Jesus’ invitation to give ourselves fully to his kingdom and to reorient our lives towards bringing God’s kingdom wherever he might lead.
We’ve held Cause Conferences in different locations and with different seasoned leaders and speakers, but each conference helps attendees answer the question: How am I going to participate with what God is doing in the world today?
Here are some things we’ve heard from past attendees about their experience at the conferences:
“I have never felt so certain to what God is calling me to.” — Danny
“All of the things that I thought I wanted in life changed in a split second, and there is no fear about that. Only pure joy.” — Andrew
“There is something truly special about investing your time and your energy and your money in being in spaces with other people who are trying to discover what God has called us to do. The personal results are often amplified by the investment in community and doing that together.” — Jerry
“I had a wonderful experience. I was enabled, equipped, filled with knowledge and supported in my goals and passions. Thank you for talking about topics that other churches are afraid to mention.” — Anonymous
“This has been such an amazing time of connecting with incredible leaders while creating a space for the holy spirit to speak to each of us! I am undone!” — Nikki
“This was a life-changing experience. God broke fear of others and insecurities something that has kept me in chains my whole life. Praise the Lord!” — Laura
My experience at Cause Con is nothing short of catalytic. As a person seeking discernment for my life, going to Cause Con has transformed the course of my life not only in the way I walk with Jesus daily, but it has shaped the vision of what it means for me personally to follow Jesus for the long-haul. — Megan
