Youth Pastor

Overview

New Covenant Fellowship is a vibrant, Spirit-filled community committed to raising up the next generation of Christ-followers. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Youth Pastor to lead our youth ministry programs, guiding students in grades 6–12 toward spiritual maturity and active participation in the body of Christ.​

 

 

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Senior Pastor
Accountable to the church elders​

 

Key Responsibilities

Sunday Morning Youth Class: Lead and teach the youth Sunday school class, providing biblical instruction and fostering spiritual growth.

Sunday Evening Youth Group: Organize and facilitate engaging youth group sessions that encourage fellowship and discipleship.

Mid-Week Bible Study: Conduct a weekly Bible study, promoting deeper understanding of Scripture and its application.

Mentorship: Build meaningful relationships with students, offering guidance and support in their faith journeys.

Parental Engagement: Collaborate with parents to reinforce spiritual development at home. Recruit parents and volunteers for activities, groups, and outings.

Event Planning: Coordinate youth events, retreats, and outreach activities that align with the church’s mission.​

 

Qualifications

Spiritual Life: A committed, Spirit-filled Christian with a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of youth ministry experience, demonstrating the ability to connect with and mentor young people.

Education: Completion of at least two semesters of college coursework.

Residency: Must reside within the greater Rochester, NY area to effectively engage with the local community.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.​

Ability to inspire and lead youth with enthusiasm and compassion.

Organizational skills to plan and execute programs effectively.

No criminal history.

Have a valid driver’s license and own car.

A heart for evangelism and discipleship.

Alignment with New Covenant Fellowship’s mission to “greet with grace, love with reality, and demonstrate the love of the Father through the power of His kingdom”.

Willingness to complete the School of Kingdom Ministry.
