Director of Evangelism

SUMMARY 

The purpose of this role is to execute vision for and direct church-wide evangelistic and outward-focused initiatives, world missions, and events designed to reach, equip, and empower the church to operate in the gifts of the spirit. This role is recognized as a Vineyard Cincinnati pastor in support of evangelistic initiatives, missions and other Breakthrough ministry related projects as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

•  Steward and provide oversight for gospel proclamation and demonstration outreach initiatives.
• Oversee operations and logistics of outreach initiatives.
• Work in collaboration with the Senior Director to ensure outreach events (with a focus of gospel proclamation and demonstration) are executed.
• Work alongside other ministry leaders to promote and create outreach initiatives in their ministry areas.
• Work in collaboration with the Media Team on delivering all necessary communications and promotional campaigns to VCC and other local churches as appropriate.
• Propose and manage annual budget for Vineyard Outreach.
• Build a diverse and impassioned Vineyard outreach volunteer team: work alongside other VCC staff to develop strategy to recruit, train and retain high-level volunteers.
• Work to ensure all Vineyard Cincinnati Church outreach remains relentlessly about gospel centered proclamation and demonstration.
• Work in collaboration with the Breakthrough ministry team to craft, promote, and execute events designed to reach, equip and empower the church to operate in gifts of the Spirit.
• Ensure Holy Spirit Nights, Prophetic Prayer and Communion Nights, and other ministry training/equipping events are offered and executed.
• Collaborate with the team to create events designed to ensure ongoing development in the ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• Work to ensure our outreach (gospel proclamation/demonstration) and evangelistic culture remains aligned with and empowered by the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit.
• Pursues ongoing growth as a ‘practitioner’ as it relates to the gifts of the Spirit and models Vineyard ‘naturally-supernatural’ style ministry.
• Speak, teach and equip at these events as appropriate.
• Provide oversight to Vineyard Missions while ensuring systems and strategies run congruent with VCC goals and values.
• Executes Vineyard Missions trips as agreed upon.
• Propose and manage the annual budget for Vineyard Missions.
• Build Vineyard Missions team: work alongside other VCC staff to develop strategy to recruit, train and retain volunteers.
• Work alongside the Media Team on delivering all necessary communications to VCC.
• Oversee and shepherd our annual missions/ministry trips to Nigeria and Spain.
• Explore and build relationships with VUSA missions partnerships for new missions opportunities as appropriate.

The Partner Agreement includes basic behaviors like attending worship services, exercising personal spiritual disciplines, discipleship and tithing 10% of your income.

QUALIFICATIONS 

EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE 2 years of supernatural ministry experience preferred
