What do I love about coaching?
I love coming alongside someone as they discover tools and answers they didn’t even know they had! And seeing God encourage those on the front lines.

I’m a church planter for the second time, and I often stop and “coach” myself, my husband, and our interns. I was being formally trained as a coach, which has taught me to ask questions in the middle of chaos or life—a great skill! Also, learning to listen and repeat what’s being said has been valuable.

When not coaching, I enjoy cooking international food, playing guitar, binge-watching TV series like The Voice, or spending time with family.

What do I bring to coaching?
I have ministered as a pastor in the Vineyard for 34 years and have served in many positions. I love new things, new church plants, new ministries, new pastors. Of course, I’ve walked alongside people in transition as well.

I am a certified Multiply Vineyard coach, a Spiritual Director through Sustainable Faith, and a coach planter twice. I love working with Hispanics, church planters, worship leaders, and women.

My ministry passions are worship, interns, communications, administration, events, starting ministries & church plants, families, Hispanics/internationals, and I would love the opportunity to coach you in any area you are passionate about!

What do I love about coaching?
I love collaborating with leaders to improve their leadership capacity and influence in a way that helps them move from success (adding value to themselves) to significance (adding value to others). I love the space that coaching provides for the Holy Spirit to work, helping leaders unlock their full potential so they can live purpose-driven lives.

When I am not coaching, advocating for the rights of the poor, doing Spiritual Direction, or speaking, I am out hiking and visiting National parks.

What do I bring to coaching?
Where you GO is determined by how you GROW. If you want to grow your life, relationships, career, or ministry, you must first grow yourself. You need a personal growth plan that gives you the power to live the life you imagine.” (Valorie Burton).

Personal growth and leadership coaching is my jam. I am passionate about working with leaders to improve their leadership capacity and the quality of their influence because leadership is influence. I use a transformative methodology, which is a holistic approach to personal development and growth that focuses on helping make meaningful and lasting changes in a leader’s personal life which leads to a ripple effect of positive change in their professional life and ministry.

I am currently the Compassion & Justice Specialist at Vineyard USA Missions. I hold a Master Certified Professional Coach (M.C.P.C) certification, and I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the International Coaching Christian Institute, and the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

Areas of Expertise:

What do I love about coaching?
I relish those aha moments in my clients’ faces, physical releases, and vocal inflections when the scales fall from their eyes. There is nothing like getting to the core of your purpose, uncovering gifts and talents, discovering strengths and weaknesses, and just knowing what you didn’t know three seconds ago. Those Kairos moments are like finding the buried treasure of life. To be a part of that witness is priceless and an honor.

What do I love about coaching?
I love affirming how God has designed each individual uniquely and helping people discover not what sounds good or what works for other people, but what works for them, honoring how God has uniquely made them.

Coaching training has helped me become a better listener. It has also opened my eyes to the fact that one solution does not fit all and that the person who has to execute the solution needs to be part of formulating the plan of action.

When I’m not coaching I love to play guitar, sing, watch movies, walk, bike for ice cream, learn new things, and travel.

I was recently trained through Multiply Vineyard Laser Coaching and am currently coaching some people going through life transitions.

I am passionate about teaching, worship, and leader development and would be excited to walk alongside you as a coach in your spiritual and life journey.

What do I love about coaching?
What I love about coaching is that I get to partner with the coachee and the Holy Spirit to help the coachee get unstuck and receive revelation. As we unpack and explore their thinking, it often feels like a holy space. Also, I love bringing vision to bear in action, so being part of that process with someone feels perfect. Coaching has helped me in all areas of my life. It has helped me step back, listen well, ask questions, and help other people come to solutions for themselves. It also has grown my faith as I hatched God reveal things to people they couldn’t see before.

When I’m not coaching, I love spending time with my family, perfecting my sourdough technique, thrift shopping, creating functional art, and watching the sunrise.e

What do I bring to coaching?
I love shepherding people. I love to look at a vision and figure out how to implement it. I love to help people get unstuck so they can move forward. I’m passionate about assisting leaders to grow in spiritual and emotional health through coaching and spiritual disciplines.

I have coached business owners, pastors, ministry leaders, and teachers. I love working with pastors, women pastors, bi-vocational pastors, business owners, couples, church planters, and group coaching.

What do I love about coaching?
What I love about coaching is accompanying people to discover and apply their solutions to challenges in their lives and ministries. I am passionate about mentoring younger leaders, participating in the spiritual formation of leaders, church planting, teaching and preaching, and prayer.

Coach training helped frame practical questions for my life and ministry and sharpened my focus on positive outcomes. This skill has proven valuable as I have coached church planters, pastors, church leaders, and apprentice leaders.

When not coaching, I love hiking, gardening, playing with grandkids, hanging out with friends, watching movies and detective shows, and reading.

What do I bring to coaching?
I have been involved in church and ministry my whole life, planting my first church in 1975. I have been with the Vineyard since 1995. I received coaching training with Vineyard in 2011, and then further training in 2015-2016 with Jen Bertsch’s Moxy Coaching.

I have been a church planter and pastor in Germany and the US. I love coaching and have been a Vineyard coach since 2011. I enjoy coaching pastors of all ages, from young planters/pastors to those who want coaching to transition their church’s pastoral leadership.

What do you love about Coaching?

What I love about coaching is its unique ability to facilitate profound personal growth and transformation. As Oswald Chambers said, “God is not working toward a particular finish – His purpose is the process itself.” This resonates deeply with my coaching philosophy.

Coaching allows me to be a thinking partner with the client, focusing more on the journey of transformation rather than resolving a particular problem. Each coaching experience presents an opportunity to witness and facilitate incredible growth.

Unlike other roles I hold-pastor, counselor, teacher, chaplain, and mentor-coachingis gives me the opportunity to intrinsically challenge individual/s to collaborate with the God who believes in them. It creates a space where both coach and client can turn every interaction into a meaningful journey of discovery and empowerment.

What I Bring to Coaching

As a coach, I bring a unique portfolio of diverse academic knowledge and practical ministry experience. My MBA provides a strong foundation in strategic and organizational leadership, which is essential for coaching leaders in various settings. The Diplomas of Ministry and Divinity offer practical ministry skills that inform my coaching approach, allowing me to integrate faith-based principles into personal and professional development.

The Christian Leaders Certificate, House Church Ministry, and Peace Ministry certifications add specialized knowledge that enhances my ability to coach in specific ministry contexts.

The School of Kingdom Ministry deepens my understanding of the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, allowing me to engage the first person of each coaching encounter(HS). This diverse background enables me to adapt my coaching style to different contexts, whether in business, ministry, or personal development.

I bring the ability to be a thinking buddy by being present and using reflective inquiry to provoke insights that transform the client rather than just solve a problem. Ultimately, I offer a unique combination of business acumen, spiritual insight, formal ministry training and practical ministry experience, empowering groups and individuals to lead well.

What do I love about coaching?
As a pastor for over 35 years, I have always loved helping individuals to grow into their destinies. I had a “Barnabus” in my life and want to be a “son of encouragement” as well.

My coaching training has helped me become a much better listener and trust the Holy Spirit’s voice in guiding sessions. I have been privileged to coach potential church planters, senior pastors, area pastors, and an internationally known worship leader. I have also coached clients wanting to start a real estate investment business (which I now do part-time).

When I’m not coaching, my wife and I love to travel to visit our four adult kids and four grandkids. I also play golf several times a week.

What do I bring to coaching?
I have been part of the Vineyard since joining the Anaheim Vineyard staff in 1986. I planted a Vineyard back home in NY in 1997, where I served on the Regional Church Planting team and as Area Leader. After transitioning out of 30 years of pastoral ministry, I moved back to Central NY, launched a successful investment property business, and am now focusing on developing his coaching ministry.

I earned an MA from Fuller Seminary’s School of World Mission with a concentration in Leadership. I was a certified coach serving Vineyard’s Healthy Church Task Force and was trained by Multiply Vineyard. I am pursuing certification from Grandview University in Coaching, Mentoring, and Leadership.

As a former Vineyard church planter and Area Leader, I am passionate about seeing Vineyard leaders thrive in ministry. I have always been passionate about church planting and love coaching.

What do I love about coaching?
My favorite part of coaching is helping people reach their life goals and make progress in areas they have not been able to breakthrough before.

Being trained as a coach has allowed me to discover and see my church leaders accomplish their goals by walking through life’s journey and facilitating self-discovery through coaching. Also, it has grown my leadership and ministry skills, serving to empower myself and others in their gifts.

When I am not coaching I spend time outdoors and reading, but family time is what I cherish the most—with my wife, Trisha, and my two adult children.

What do I love about coaching?
I love helping people move forward. It’s wonderful to see someone with a goal, ask them a few questions and see the light come on and hear them tell me how they’re going to get there.
When I’m not coaching, I spend time strength training and cooking; one necessitates the other!
