Its answer is the algorithm. It isn’t a conspiracy or a political force, but a set of systems built to hold our attention, and in the process they shape what we love, what we fear, and who we see as the enemy. Sermon 1 sets the frame with the idea of liturgy. Every repeated habit forms us, whether we mean it to or not, so our daily time on our phones is discipling us too.
