The development of Vineyard USA’s ordination process is well underway!

On Monday, May 13 we hosted a webcast to hear from Caleb Maskell (Associate National Director of Theology and Education, Vineyard USA) and Robb Morgan (Managing Director, Vineyard USA) about where things currently are in the ordination process and where things are going over the next several months.

During the first half of the webcast, Caleb and Robb were joined by Sharon McCarter (pastor, Maryville Vineyard, Tennessee; regional leader, Southeast Region) and Gary Dawkins (lead pastor, Mercy Vineyard, Minneapolis, area leader, Midwest North) to talk about the ratification of the national ordination process by the Vineyard Leadership Council in Orlando this past March.

In the second half of the webcast, Caleb and Robb spoke with Greg Strand, Executive Director of Theology and Credentialing at Evangelical Free Church of America, who has recently led his denomination through a similar process. This conversation helped clarify some of our next steps and explained the rationale behind them.
