Dr. Danielle and Joey Walker grew up in the Vineyard family and are members at Vineyard Anaheim. Dr. Walker is a professor of public health and health science and Director of Lifetime Wellness at Biola University. She is also a certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), and recently certified in COVID-19 Emergency Response. Prior to being a professor and co-leading Meeting TENTS, she worked for the CDC in the Division of Infectious Disease in the HIV care program for the State of Maine. Joey has 10 years experience working full time in pastoral and management roles in churches both large and small.
Danielle and Joey co-founded Meeting TENTS, a global health organization, which exists to improve the quality of life in communities by using data-driven public health models to guide them in Meeting The Everyday Needs To Survive.
They have a heart for pastors and churches and want to provide resources, in partnership with Vineyard Anaheim, that will help the church community stay safe and feel empowered as they begin planning a reintegration process of people back to in-person gatherings.
