In this episode of We Are Vineyard, Jay talks with John Mumford about his memories of the early days with faith and the Vineyard. They also talk about translating Vineyard values internationally.Â
John and Eleanor Mumford led the Vineyard Churches in the UK and Ireland for over 20 years. They worked for nearly two years with John Wimber on the staff of the Anaheim Vineyard in California, before starting the first Vineyard church in Europe in 1987 (South West London Vineyard). In 2008, they handed over the leadership of that church to concentrate more on the Vineyard movement, both nationally and internationally, then in 2015 they transitioned the leadership of Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland.Â
Together, they now coordinate the Vineyard Global initiative, which helps facilitate the growth of the Vineyard internationally.Â
John and Eleanor have two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren!
