“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called ‘Today’…” (Hebrews 3:13a).
Friends,
I have never met a fellow pastor who said, “I receive too much encouragement.” If we have a problem with anything as pastors, it’s that we don’t receive enough encouragement to keep our hearts fueled and burning along the way!
Let me encourage you today: the Lord who knows you, loves you, and is with you. You are not alone in your faithful labors to love God, love people, and love the world to which He has given you. He is with you (“…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age,” Matt. 28:20) and He is for you.
Please take that message to heart today, and hold on to every promise the Lord has brought your way. He will complete the work He has begun in you (Phil. 1:6).
There is so much to be encouraged about as we walk through this year of reimagining the Vineyard to better equip, encourage, and empower local church pastors for the work of ministry. With our National Director-Elect selected, and the hiring process for the National Team underway, we are posturing the Movement to face the challenges of living and ministering in the new reality in the US.
You might already know, the hiring process for the National Team started May 1st, and applications will remain open through June 1st. I am praying for many of you to consider applying to serve the Movement in this way. We are starting this process by hiring four Associate National Directors and also two Super Regional Leaders. Later in the year we will hire a Managing Director, Communications Director, and Development Director. As you pray for the Movement this month, please pray for this process, share the roles with those who you think are equipped to do the work, and perhaps consider applying yourself.
I hope you are as encouraged as I am about this National Team, and I know that the Lord’s hand will be on each of these servants as they serve alongside the Jay Pathak, National Director-Elect in the coming years.
I want to leave you with this word: The greatness of the Gospel is that it is always relevant, always transformative, and is always the central message of the Church. We in the Vineyard are Gospel-people, and our leaders and structures are designed to serve us as we faithfully bring the Word of Truth to our time and to our communities.
It is my firm belief that this season of transition for our Movement will help us to serve our pastors with greater joy and strength deep into the future. Let’s continue to pray for God to lead us as we walk together through the months to come.

Nunca he conocido a un pastor que diga: “Recibo demasiado ánimo”. Si tenemos un problema con algo como pastores, ¡Es que no recibimos suficiente aliento para mantener nuestros corazones llenos de energía y ardiendo a lo largo del camino!
Déjame animarte hoy: El Señor que te conoce, te ama y está contigo. No estás solo en tu fiel labor de amar a Dios, amar a otros y amar el mundo al que Él te ha dado. Él está contigo
(“Y les aseguro que estaré con ustedes siempre, hasta el fin del mundo.”, Mateo 28:20) y Él está contigo.
Por favor, tome en serio este mensaje hoy y aférrese a cada promesa que el Señor le ha dado. Él completará la obra que ha comenzado en ti (Fil. 1: 6).
Hay mucho por lo que estar animado mientras recorremos este año de reinvención de la Viña para equipar, apoyar y fortalecer mejor a los pastores de iglesias locales para el trabajo del ministerio. Con nuestro nuevo Director Nacional Electo, y el proceso de contratación para el Equipo Nacional en marcha, estamos orientando al Movimiento para enfrentar los desafíos de vivir y ministrar en la nueva realidad de los Estados Unidos.
Es posible que ya lo sepa, pero el proceso de contratación para el Equipo Nacional comenzó el 1 de mayo y las solicitudes permanecerán abiertas hasta el 1 de junio. Estoy orando para que muchos de ustedes consideren aplicar para servir al Movimiento de esta manera. Estamos iniciando este proceso contratando cuatro Directores Nacionales Asociados y también dos Súper Líderes Regionales. Más adelante en el año contrataremos a un Director Gerente, un Director de Comunicaciones y un Director de Desarrollo. Mientras, oren por el Movimiento este mes, oren por este proceso, compartan los roles con aquellos que crea que están equipados para hacer el trabajo y tal vez considere aplicar usted mismo.
Espero que esté tan animado como yo por este Equipo Nacional, y sé que la mano del Señor estará sobre cada uno de estos servidores mientras sirven junto con Jay Pathak, Director Nacional Electo en los próximos años.
Quiero dejarles con esta palabra: La grandeza del Evangelio es que siempre es relevante, es siempre transformador y es siempre el mensaje central de la Iglesia. Nosotros en la Viña somos gente del Evangelio, y nuestros líderes y estructuras están diseñadas para servir mientras llevamos fielmente la Palabra de Verdad en estos tiempos y a nuestras comunidades.
Creo firmemente que esta temporada de transición para nuestro Movimiento nos ayudará a servir a nuestros pastores con mayor alegría y fuerza en el futuro. Sigamos orando para que Dios nos guíe mientras caminamos juntos durante los meses venideros.
