An Invitation To Prayer For Our Nation From Phil

Dear Friends,

As I have been reflecting on the events of the last several days, I feel that we are at a pivotal moment for our time in history. Looking back on my past letters to you all, they all mention the challenges that were faced the year before. They all point to Jesus, the only one who can and will redeem us to be fully reconciled with Him.

I’ll admit that starting the year with a storm on the capitol is not how I wanted the year to begin …nor did I want this to be the first letter you received from me, but I am confident that the only way on is through Jesus Christ. I can wake up, see what the Father is doing, and join Him in that by loving my neighbors and leading people to Jesus. I can fast and pray and lean in. Will you do the same?

The National Association of Evangelicals, of which the Vineyard is a part, is taking time this weekend to fast and pray for the healing of our nation. They have some direction (click here to read more), but I would encourage you to sit with the Lord and intercede on our nation’s behalf.

History is unfolding, prayer works, and our God is an awesome God with whom I’m placing all my bets.

For greater glory to God and the well-being of His people,

Phil Strout

Vineyard USA Day of Giving

On August 4th, 2024 Vineyard USA will be launching our first annual Day of Giving titled Seed & Soil: Celebrating 50 Years of the Vineyard. In this unique moment in our history, we want to celebrate all God has done in and through the Vineyard. We invite you to give and support the work of local churches across the country.
