We have been running free clinics at our church for almost five years now. I just want to say God is so totally blessing them, it is incredible! We started with a free medical clinic, then added free vision, legal, and tax preparation. Then we really got going and added free computer repair, free bicycle repairs, and two years ago we added free dog obedience. This year we added free financial advice and investing.
These clinics have become the highlight of my many years in ministry! I have so many people volunteering that we actually have two rotating shifts. We are only open once a month so they are not draining. They don’t cost our church anything. The people who get served are loved on and prayed for. The people who volunteer each month thank me for getting them involved. Our community loves us because we are serving them in a way they can all relate to. We regularly have people in the community volunteer to help in the clinics also.

If anyone reading this is interested in starting one of these clinics, I would be glad to help out. They are really, really easy to manage, even for a smaller church.
