On July 6, 2015, 4,000 people representing over 60 countries gathered in Columbus, Ohio for The Vineyard Global Family Conference. Hosted by Vineyard USA at Vineyard Columbus for the international family of Vineyard churches, the thousands gathered, worshiped passionately in many languages, prayed for one another, and served one another. Rich Nathan welcomed everyone to Vineyard Columbus for the event, and Vineyard USA National Director Phil Strout reminded those gathered what an historic event was taking place. Speakers from throughout the global Vineyard family brought encouragements, exhortations, and impactful words to those gathered. John and Eleanor Mumford (UK), Rich Nathan (US), Elba Dolan (Brazil), Juliet Barber (UK), Derek Morphew (SA), Mark Fields (US), Costa Mitchell (SA), Martin Buehlmann (DACH), Charles Montgomery (US), and Damas Kamfwa (Zambia) all shared powerfully as their words were translated into many languages. A Wednesday evening “Cultural Celebration” was a night to remember with attendees’ dress representing their respective nations, tastings of global cuisine, live music, and even a “National Director Olympics.” Times of ministry, healing, and repentance for racial division filled the week and reminded us why we all love being a part of the #VineyardGlobalFamily.
